How To Fix “Dr.Watson Postmortem Debugger” Error


If you are using Internet Explorer, Outlook or any Application, you can get Dr .Watson Postmortem Debugger error. You can also observe drwtsn32.exe process running in the task manager.Dr.Watson crashes when other applications crashed. See the Screenshots below:-

It actually crashes some times frequently and gives the error as given below.

Why Dr.Watson crashes and give error:-

Unfortunately, when you are browsing through Internet Explorer or working with any other program if that program crashes, then Dr.Watson program it self crashes and gives that error.

How To Fix It:-

Steps:-

  1. Click Start>Run>type Regedit and click ok.disableDr.watsondebugger_regsitry_thumb
  2. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version
  3. Select AeDebug in the right pane ,double click it and enter value 0.  
  4. Close registry editor, restart your computer.

If this does not solves the problem then download DisableDrWatson.reg. & run it.
It will fix your problem.
