Google Chrome Extensions Website Launched (beta)


Google Chrome Extensions website beta is officially relased. Google Chrome Extensions are now supported only in the Beta Channel of Google Chrome. This means, you will have to download the Google Chrome Beta browser to use the extensions.
Extensions are available in various categories such as Most popular, Most recent, Top rated and Featured. There are more than 400 extensions listed now. The extensions are currently not categorized or tagged according to their purpose. As they repository grow, Google should do that for finding the right plug-in in short time. You can still use the Extension search to get what you need.

Some of the Most popular Google Chrome Extensions are Google Mail Checker which displays the number of unread messages in your Google Mail inbox; Google Translatewhich translates entire webpages into a language of your choice with one click;AdThwart which blocks ads on websites, RSS Subscription Extension to adds one-click subscription to your toolbar, Chromed Bird twitter extension that allows you to follow your timelines and interact with your Twitter account.
